To be a cop or not to be a cop 2
Wow when one door closes another one opens up, even though this door has not closed entirely yet, after my disappointment with the powers that be who head the hiring department for the LAPD, I received a phone call from my college roommate's mother, she had just found out from her son that I am applying for the LAPD, it turns out that she is friends with one of the chiefs in the LA County sheriffs department, and passed on my information to him. I called him the next day, and we have set up a time to meet in 2 weeks. He said that if I apply, he will personally rush my application through the hiring process, and that he can offer me a job whilst waiting on the results of the application process. Woohoo things are looking up.
